This space engine is based on the engine developed by Jason M. "Chuckles" Skiles and Donald J. "Euler" Bindner. It was originally released on 21 July 1992, and was maintained by Chuckles until September 1993. The engine was ported to MUX in December 1996 by Cameron K. Smith. Cameron then re-wrote the framework, and ported the Chuckles mechanics onto the new framework, to give himself a place to start. Since then he has been updating the mechanics piece by piece, and adding new features. In September 1997 Mark P. Cooke joined the continuing development effort.
